Delete GPS data from a Node

I was using the app and toggled “provide phone location to mesh” on for a second to see if it works.
Good news: it works great!
Bad news: it works too well!

Now my node shows my exact GPS location, I’ve tried the following:
-unchecked the box
-revoked app GPS permissions
-disconnected/reconnected the node
-Turned off EVERYTHING in the position menu under radio settings
-reset the Node DB

I’m using a RPi Pico W with the Waveshare hat.

I am still seeing the following:

They’re going to tell you that everything is “working exactly as intended”.

use the app, go to position settings .
deactivate gps,
activate “use Fixed position”
change 1 or 2 digits in fixed position data that will show up…
save data
your position has changed.

or just get in the car, or on the bike, ride 4km from home, provide new gps data from phone at this location :slight_smile:
turn off “prvovide gps data”

the new data will be stored and used until you provide other data :slight_smile:
