I have a half-dozen t-beams and I have noticed the Android app will only let you update a single device, then it refuses to update additional units. It shows the update button once the next unit get selected, but the progress bar never appears. Stopping the android app and restarting it gets it going again.
FWIW I am currently updating from 1.1.4 to 1.1.6, but I noticed the same issue with the previous update.

This was fixed on 1.1.6 of the Android app but you should wait for 1.1.7 because it sounds like .6 still has an unrelated problem.
(And my programming time today got sucked into a day of govt paperwork)

My experience also. I updated my heltec last night, but my phone ran out ofbattery before i got to updat more. However this morning i updated 2 Tbeams, and I had to restart the phone for the second board
