Meshtastic CLI Install Issues

I have installed Meshtastic CLI onto Windows 10/11 computers in the past and have had no issue at all, but just today I attempted to install it onto one of my new Windows 11 computers. It looks to be installed, but as soon as I try to run any type of command that interfaces with a RAK4631 it just doesn’t respond. I attempted it on another computer that Meshtastic CLI was already installed on and “meshtastic --info” works just find same version of python and meshtastic. I have made sure to check all the paths are included in Environment variables. Did I somehow miss a step or is there something new having to do with the install process or disabling some sort of permissions? I would be grateful for any help or suggestions. Photos attached.

Hey @syncKira, I too had a similar issue with my friends computer this week and could not figure it out for a couple days. I noticed it was running 64-bit Python, so we uninstalled replaced it with Python x86, and then it started working just fine.

Also, you might want to confirm you have all the prerequisite serial drivers installed listed here:

@W1LMS big ups to you. Who would have know that my x64 bit Windows system would need a x32 bit version of Python… At least it is working now. XD

Yea, funny how the 64bit vs 32bit issue is still ongoing after all these years, LOL. Glad you are up and running.
