FROM MACBOOK RUN: picocom -b 115200 /dev/cu.usbserial-0001

       (To find the Radio frequency) reboot the Heltec, watch for "Radio frequency:"

ENTER: 433.576 on the Beefing UV-5R (anything a kHz or so higher)

ON THE WALKIE TALKIE:

…………………During the transmission of the send text the unsquelched noise on 433.576 goes to fully quiet, several times as the packets are transmitted

This is pretty cool! Do you have an audio clip of a transmission? (For those of us curious)

I use gqrx and a cheap rtl sdr usb tv dongle to monitor my boards.
I was supprised how often they are transmitting.

Here you can get an idea how it sounds if decoding the waveform as AM
