I use a RAK 4631/19007 combination as a Meshtastic node. Yesterday, I noticed that I was unable to access the “Radio Configuration” menu in the app. The device will connect, but the name of my node shown in the ‘Your Name’ box is light gray text. I’m fairly new to this and was wondering if I might have clicked a wrong setting somewhere along the way. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you!
Are you connecting by Bluetooth? Is it connected?
Hello & thank you Yes, I’m connecting to the RAK unit via Bluetooth (Android). It is connecting (it goes through the whole counting/initialization process).
Did you flash it? e.g. by downloading the file from https://flasher.meshtastic.org/ and copying it into the RAK ?

Can you access the node via serial connection? If you can you’re going to have to perform a factory rest via CLI command in powershell. I had to use "powershell’ not windows “powershell”. Once you know you are connected to the node type the command meshtastic --factory-reset . This will take you back to how it was when you first got the node then redo all your setup just be careful not to repeat what you did to cause the issue. I would go one step at a time. If it happens again do another rest and don’t perform that same setting…lol
Setting up python and powershell via this method if you haven’t done so already. Follow the video exactly but be aware I had to use regular “powershell” instead of the video recommended “windows powershell”.
