Hi - just getting started and trying to set up a three node network with t-beams. I have two of the devices paired to phones and communicating no problems - now I want to use the third t-beam as a ‘headless repeater’. Do I need to pair it to a phone first to get it on the correct channel, or is there a way to do this without a phone?

It is likely possible using the python API and some wizardry but I am not qualified to say that with certainty. Pairing to a phone first is your best bet if changing from default channel settings.

Paring the device first with your phone is currently the way to go. I think you can expect a simpler method after the repeater mode is integrated.
